FOR NJ INSTRUCTORS
Welcome to the brand-new Advanced Certification program for L.E.A.D. As a result of a generous grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance and United States Senator Robert Menendez, L.E.A.D. is excited to offer a FREE Advanced Certification program for all New Jersey L.E.A.D. Instructors. Only New Jersey instructors will have an opportunity to participate in this brand new pilot program and receive an Advanced Certification and designation as a Highly Qualified L.E.A.D. Instructor. Instructors who complete this process will also receive a framed certificate and uniform pin. Participation in the Advanced Certification program in the 2022-2023 year also provides FREE Registration to our Annual Conference in March in Atlantic City for the first 500 registrants.
To achieve Advanced Certification, all instructors must attend a one-day in person training program, participate in one virtual training module, attend a Too Good for Drugs and Violence curriculum update, participate in one in-person or virtual classroom monitoring and attend either the L.E.A.D. or NASRO Annual conference. All training classes and modules, including curriculum updates, will be offered FREE of charge by L.E.A.D.
