L.E.A.D. is proud to offer our ON THE STREET Law Enforcement Officer and Educator Certification Program. The training is designed to certify all Law Enforcement Officers and Educators in a detailed curriculum that addresses the Mission of L.E.A.D, to foster youth drug prevention, reduce bullying and violence, and improve substance abuse prevention in schools and local communities. The curricula will be presented in (4) four modules to address Drug Abuse, Drug Related Crimes, Bullying and Violence and Promoting Law Enforcement’s and the Educator’s Role in Building Safe Communities.
The L.E.A.D Organization recognizes that in order to serve Law Enforcement Agencies and School Districts, we need to ensure all officers and educators are given the tools to address this growing social problem. The ON THE STREET Program is a nice enhancement to our IN THE CLASSROOM Program for youth drug prevention and violence reduction. Agencies that are not participating in our IN THE CLASSROOM component are encouraged to participate in our ON THE STREET Program to see firsthand the resources and services that we have developed for L.E.A.D. Agencies. Participation in our ON THE STREET Program does not require participation in our IN THE CLASSROOM Services. However, having the most effective tested and proven effective K-12 school based curricula for youth drug prevention and bullying and violence reduction is another great service for future consideration.
