Description: This condensed training is designed for law enforcement officers who are already L.E.A.D. trained to get you up and running with the Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) curriculum. This is also designed for LEOs not yet trained in the L.E.A.D. program but who are trained to teach in the classroom, as well as educators and prevention specialists.
During Registration: Choose the specific level you will teach.ย Current L.E.A.D. instructors will get their Teaching Set free of charge (plus S/H).

Description: Open to anyone not yet trained to teach prevention-based programs in the classroom.
What youโll gain: Extensive training covering how to teach in the classroom and two levels of the LST curriculum.
During registration:ย Choose the specific level you will teach from the two covered. You will keep the Training Set from the level you will implement.

The success of your L.E.A.D. program is directly related to the officer in the classroom who instructs the students. L.E.A.D. suggests instructor candidates possess the following: at least two yearsโ experience as a police officer. The best candidate for the officer instructor training program should be comfortable with public speaking and display an outgoing and positive personality. In addition, the successful candidate should be engaged in the community with a strong desire to make a positive impact through drug and bullying prevention training programs.
