Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) is a non-profit organization supported by dedicated police officers who are committed to protecting our youth and communities from the proliferation of drugs, drug-related crimes, peer to peer/cyber bullying and violence.

East Brunswick Police Officer Reggie Wright brought the L.E.A.D. program to the township’s fifth-graders, now the program is bringing some good times to local residents.

Families are invited to enjoy food, rides and entertainment at the L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival, a ten-day event hosted by Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence (L.E.A.D.), in East Brunswick, New Jersey at the Brunswick Square Mall.

The carnival is open to the public from:

Thursday, July 21 – Sunday, July 31

The hours are:

Monday – Friday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday/Sunday: 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Fairway rides along with midway by Reithoffer Shows are included in the general admission price of $5. To purchase discounted ride tickets and mega passes in advance of the carnival, please visit https://www.theleadfest.com/p/events/brunswick

The carnival will benefit the L.E.A.D. program, which provides services โ€œon the streetโ€ and โ€œin the classroomโ€ to bring law enforcement and communities closer together, in East Brunswick. The โ€œin the classroomโ€ program is taught by 3000 trained instructors in 41 states. L.E.A.D. has the only proven effective, law enforcement-focused antiโ€“drug, antiโ€“violence curriculum for K-12 students in the U.S. The L.E.A.D. curriculum is taught over the course of a 10-week program to educate youth on how they can make smart decisions without the involvement of drugs or violence.
