L.E.A.D. Instructors Make a Difference
The success of your L.E.A.D. program is directly related to the officer in the classroom who instructs the students. L.E.A.D. suggests instructor candidates possess at least two years’ experience as a police officer. The best candidate for the officer instructor training program should be comfortable with public speaking and display an outgoing and positive personality. In addition, the successful candidate should be engaged in the community with a strong desire to make a positive impact through drug and bullying prevention training programs.
